Next steps..

Sorry I have been M.I.A! We got work from the contractors that they will be delivering the cabinets tomorrow (Monday)!! Also tomorrow the treadmill gets delivered as well and the old one gets removed. Our treadmill got damaged and stopped working so we had to get it replaced. Now the cabinets will not get installed until Tuesday. Not sure how long it will take but I am hoping only a couple of days and we should be close to DONE. I can't wait! In the last week Addison and I have started putting the basement back together. We have all of our stuff back on the shelves and picked up a lot of the junk that was lying around. Here are the updates pictures so far!

Cabinets!

Well we got a call yesterday that the cabinets are in!!! Now we just have to schedule time for them to be put together! Very exciting!
Also over this last wknd Addison and I put back all of the stuff on the shelves so it is starting to look like a new basement! More to come...

Vacation's Over!

Well we are back from our vacation! Nothing else has happened since the last blog. We did get the carpet finished in the basement and I will post pictures of that soon. The cabinets will be in no sooner than January 18th, so we have a while for those! I will keep you posted!

Furniture back -- well kinda!

On Friday they delivered our couch, table, and tread mill. We were so excited to get them back but when we looked at them a little closer we weren't too happy! We had stratches all over our treadmill, a whole in our couch and stratches on our antique dining room table. seriously!! It's always something! We talked to the project manager and they are going to come look at the stuff on Monday. So hopefully something gets resolved with this...I'll keep you posted!

Door Trim

We had a worker come yesterday and put up the trim around the side door on the inside. All it needs to be is painted white and we are set!

Almost done!

We are getting about close to being done with this whole project! Yeah!! We still have some little items that still need to be done: the carpet isn't complete yet, the cabinets will need to be installed, and a few items upstairs need to be addressed. Here are the pictures of the new vinyl flooring on the stair landing, the newly painted stairs, and the carpet downstairs so far!

Basement Color!

Today they almost got done painting the basement and stairway hallway! The color is called Shaker Beige -- its a tan color. I think it will look nice with all of the other colors hopefully!! I think they will be coming on Monday to finish the touch ups then it should be good to go! Soon the electrician will be coming back to finish the lights & the carpet will be going in on Tuesday! More things to check off the list!
