We are getting new carpet installed tomorrow on our main floor including the hallway and family room!! Right now our dining room is also carpeted but there is hardwood floors underneath the carpet so we are going to not carpet the dining room because of the back door (it always gets dirty with coming in and out, so hardwood will be easier to clean).

We are very excited because the carpet now is getting wear patterns and we aren't sure how old it is since it was here when we bought the house 4 years ago. We also wanted the floors to be clean, new, and fresh for when Baby B comes! Here are some before shots of the current carpet and I will post new carpet pics tomorrow! We went with a carpet called "Khaki Taupe" - it is a neutral color with little flecks in it - also it is made out of corn, which is one of the new ways to make carpet. It is suppose to last a long time!
